With over 15 years of experience in film and creative media production, there aren’t many projects our founder Grant wouldn’t tackle. He started DigitalSky over seven years ago out of the desire to raise the quality of media in the Midwest, and has spent that time pushing the limits of camera and drone technology to provide outstanding, Emmy Award-winning multimedia to a plethora of clientele.
Aaron is our COO and strategic developer. While the rest of us are behind the scenes of our videos, Aaron is behind the scenes of our business. He makes sales, flies our drones, fixes the server, and – most importantly – writes our paychecks.
Ann is the creative manager here, meaning she not only possesses the talents of a skillful creator and storyteller, but she also has to deal with managing the rest of us. She’s a master photographer, motion designer and editor, and she still finds time to keep our Trello board up to date.
Before coming to DigitalSky, Jackson was selling video production equipment. Now, ironically, he’s managing the sales of our video productions. If you need a clip cooked up, Jackson is your waiter. And he’s excited to take your order.
Kenzie comes from the high-intensity world of sports media, crafting crazy clips first for the Huskers, then for James Madison University in Virginia. Now, she takes that same vigor to every project she tackles at DigitalSky. Her mantra is “on the farm,” a short phrase you will likely hear her say in order to channel the power of her rural hometown of Sutherland.
Tristin is to our office as Maverick is to “Top Gun.” When he’s not tending to the drones in our gear room, he’s likely out flying them. Tristin has been building, flying and racing first person view drones competitively since 2017. He’s taken his quadcopters all over the USA and even competed in the World Drone Racing Championships in Shenzhen, China, where he took 34th place in the world.
Like our other creative producers, Mark spends his time shooting and editing videos, but he also handles the copywriting that comes out of our office. Whether you need an aerial view of an avenue, a final draft of a paragraph or a hot shot of your new robot, Mark can lend a hand to help you land your brand.
Whenever we need the tough stuff – data analysis, search engine optimization, tennis lessons – Chris comes into play. He’s a marketing guru who knows how to take the facts and figures and turn them into tangible benefits for your company.

Currently a junior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Maddie is studying advertising and public relations while also minoring in Spanish. She hopes to pursue videography as a career one day after learning the skills in school and with us.
